History
MailFast was started in 1987 by Doyle Hain, coming from a background in production automation and robotics. Doyle wanted to bring automation and the associated costs savings to the business mailers of Birmingham and eventually nationwide. MailFast has always heavily invested in technology while educating it’s customers on it’s virtues.
In 1995, after years of hearing his customers complain about their printers missing deadlines and delaying marketing plans, Doyle and his wife Kimberly decided to start MailFast's printing division. Kimberly left a career in nursing to head up that division. With the addition of printing, MailFast became one of the first companies in the area to offer a one stop solution to businesses direct mail marketing needs.The printing division has steadily grown to the point where it now comprises two-thirds of the revenue generated on behalf of MailFast.
Doyle and Kimberly's son's have been actively involved in the business since they were wee lads. Nathan, with his love of "talk" and never meeting a stranger, has became MailFast's sole sales executive. Chase with his talents in mechanics and can fix anything attitude, manages the print and bindery departments.
Doyle contributes MailFast’s success to educating customers about mail piece design, postal regulations, marketing techniques, ways to save money, and increase response while addressing the customers needs and producing a quality product. Both Doyle and Kimberly are very committed to MailFast, its customers and its employees. They are committed to growing their customer base and loyalty along with keeping a well trained and committed staff.
